Data Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Data Engineer who will help us maintain the existing (and create new) systems for collecting, validating, and preparing high-quality data. Your main responsibility will be building pipelines to bring data together from different source systems and make them easily accessible for our analysts and other stakeholders. Today, we’re a company of over 100 people that ships Trezor hardware wallets globally and your work will support most of our teams - Product, E-commerce, Logistics, Finance, Customer Support, and HR.
👉 What will your duties be?
- Data collection, processing, and transformation - creating reliable data pools for further use
- Close cooperation with data analysts and other stakeholders, covering system evaluations and source modifications leading to successful data integration
- Building, testing, and maintaining database pipeline architectures
- Consultation and advice on data collection methods and getting the best use of existing systems
✍️ What makes you the perfect candidate?
- You have at least 2-3 years of experience in a similar position, ideally with a wide range of collected data types
- You have a good knowledge of SQL
- You have experience with an ETL tool for creating and managing data integrations and its maintenance - we use Keboola Connection
- You have experience with API connectors
- You’ve worked with the cloud-based data storage and analytics platform - Snowflake
- You’re familiar with data analytics and presentation process (though it won’t be your main responsibility) - experience with BI platforms or tools (in our case Tableau), ability to work with interactive dashboards
- Working knowledge of Python & PySpark
- You’re able to multitask and prioritize
- You can communicate in English fluently, Czech/Slovak isn’t mandatory, but preferred
- You are thorough, independent, and reliable, you can get things done, you can clearly describe processes, carefully document
- You’re interested in crypto and new technologies
